Fred Abbott manages Valley View Ventures. With over 22 years successfully selling and marketing IT industry analysis to both buyers and sellers of information technology, Fred understands the underlying issues that drive clients to engage IT industry analysis.

As a Vice President at Gartner Group, Fred helped grow that firm from under $1M to over $150M. Fred also served on the management teams of Aberdeen Group, D.H. Brown, and Hurwitz Group and assisted in planning for Giga Information Group’s initial success. Fred began his career in the industry with International Data Corp.
