The Informa Telecoms & Media group was created in 2005 following the integration of several leading research houses and event businesses, including ARC Group, Baskerville, Chorleywood, EMC, IBC Telecoms Conferences, Informa Media, Informa Telecoms & Technology Magazines, and Telecoms Academy. Presently the group employs over 200 people in offices around the world, and has one of the largest research teams dedicated to the telecoms and media markets.
In 2007, Informa acquired Datamonitor and its assets, including Ovum and Butler Group.
