Bert McComas is founder of InQuest Market Research. He has 15 years experience in technical marketing of computer chipsets, analog and power ICs, and computer boards and systems. Prior to forming InQuest, he was Chief Technical Officer at In-Stat, a semiconductor market research firm in Arizona. McComas was also Director of Marketing at VLSI Technology's Portable Systems Division responsible for handheld, notebook system logic and notebook graphics chipsets. He has also held marketing management positions in the Silicon Valley with LSI Logic, Mosel/Vitelic, Siliconix and Faraday, a subsidiary of Western Digital. He has spent several years living abroad working in high technology, and is fluent in Japanese.
